The Butterfly Light Award

butterfly-light-awardHow cool is this; an award for something I enjoy doing every day–what could be better?  This morning when I opened up in connection to Word Press, I found a message from Charlene.  She’d nominated me for a Butterfly Light Award.  I read on to find out that recognizes those bloggers who spread a little happiness and joy.  I’m all about sharing the happy and joy, and hearing someone I’ve never met is feeling the love, WOW!  Thank you, CharleneIt made me happy to hear that you enjoy reading my blog.

In order to accept this award I have to write a short paragraph about How I’m Spreading the Light.  Well, my newest approach, particularly in my workplace, is to answer “I’m terrific!”, when I’m asked, “how are you today, Kelly?”  My hope is not only that it will make me feel good, it will also tell others that saying you’re terrific, will actually make you feel…terrific.  It seems to have really changed the mood around my office; and if I don’t say it, well, it’s noticed!

The blogs I read that lift my spirits and spark my interest are many.  Here are just a few that I’d like to nominate for the Butterfly Award, and I hope you’ll check them out!

So, the conditions for accepting this award are simple:

    1. Write an acceptance post, making sure you link back to the blogger who awarded you and thank them.

    2. Individually name and re-award to a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 9999999 bloggers. You must let them know either personally with a comment on their blog or a pingback.

    3. Link back to where the award got its start, Belinda’s blog either at http://idiotwriting.wordpress.com/2014/03/13/i-love-charismatic-geeks or http://idiotwriting.wordpress.com/about/

    4. Write a short paragraph (yes only one paragraph!) entitled either “How I’m Spreading Light” or “How I’m A Positive Influence”

    5. Display Belinda’s lovely “Butterfly Light Award” badge on your blog.
