We all have songs that remind us of specific periods and events in our lives. Twenty years from now, which song will remind you of the summer of 2014?

I know some of you might think that a song can get too much air time on the radio, but I don’t think this one can ever be over-played. My song for Summer 2014 is Happy!

I first got to know the song watching the movie Despicable Me 2; I LOVE this movie and the minions are fantastic.  Clever, funny, silly, how can you stop yourself from smiling?!  They have their own moving coming out next summer–can’t wait!

Today’s shout-out of thanks is to the creators of the movie and the writer of the song.  There is not enough happy going around these days and if hearing this song over and over and over, is a way to get my happy on, I’m gonna do it!
