I Promised Myself About a Hundred Times

Tell us about one thing (or more) that you promised yourself you’d accomplish by the end of the year. How would you feel once you do? What if you don’t?

On more than one occasion, in fact probably more than 100 times, I’ve declared that “I’m going to lose this weight!”  I thought by asserting my intentions publicly, I would somehow be otherwise accountable to the universe, to myself.

Well now, I find myself again in my battle with the bulge.  I’m fully aware of what needs to be done, how to do it, and what the benefits are to the outcome.  What to do?

The powers of the universe seem to be pushing me to recommit to my health.  Two of my Facebook friends are what I would call fitness gurus.  Their posts of late are like the big, neon signs blaring the message that has yet to translate from the what I know how to do, to doing it.

I’ve done the major weight loss before, I know it can be done.  I also know that when I’m successful…I feel fantastic!  Today, I want to thank Betsy and Robin for being in my Newsfeed, providing me with the in-your-face reminder I need right NOW!

you are up to you
